Registration group

A registration group is a category in the NDIS Commission's framework describing a specific type of support a provider is registered to deliver.

A registration group is one of the categories the NDIS Commission uses to define what a provider can deliver as a registered provider. Each group covers a related set of supports, such as household tasks or therapeutic supports.

A provider’s registration lists every group it has been assessed against, and the audit process behind registration varies with the risk profile of the groups applied for.

Registration groups also determine which support items a provider can validly invoice for under agency-managed and plan-managed funding.
