Agency-managed

Agency-managed is a plan management type where the NDIA pays registered providers directly from a participant's plan.

Agency-managed is one of the three plan management types. Under this arrangement the NDIA itself pays claims, and a participant does not handle invoices or reimbursement directly.

Agency-managed participants generally need to purchase through registered NDIS providers. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can buy from any suitable supplier.

A plan can combine agency-managed funding for some budgets with self-managed or plan-managed funding for others, and the plan document states which applies where.
