Plan manager

A plan manager is a provider engaged to administer the financial side of a plan. They pay provider invoices, submit claims to the NDIA, and give the participant regular statements of what has been spent.

Using a plan manager sits under plan management as a category. A participant who chooses it can buy from both registered and unregistered providers, which is not the case under agency-managed funding.

A plan manager is themselves a registered provider of plan management supports, and their fees for this service are set out separately in the plan.
