Access request

An access request is the formal application a person makes to the NDIA to become an NDIS participant.

An access request is the application process a person completes to ask the NDIA to assess them against the scheme’s access criteria.

The NDIA publishes its access criteria, and the NDIA alone decides who becomes a participant. The criteria and application process are on the official NDIS website.

Nothing on this page decides or predicts an access outcome. It explains the published criteria so you know what the NDIA looks at.
