NDIS Plan Spend Tracker

See where your spending sits against your plan dates and budgets.

A plan runs across a set period, and it helps to know whether spending is tracking evenly through it. This tracker takes your plan start and end dates and the amounts committed and drawn on, then works out where you sit at today’s date. Every number is one you enter, and the maths happens in your browser.

What pro-rata tracking shows

Pro-rata means spread evenly across time. If a plan is a bit under halfway through its period, an even pace of spending would have used a bit under half the budget. The tracker compares your actual drawn amount against that even pace.

This is a pacing check, not a rule. Real plans rarely spend evenly, because equipment, therapy blocks, and seasonal supports land unevenly. The tracker gives you a reference point, and the reading is yours to make.

Privacy and accuracy

Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere. The tracker holds your figures only while the page is open, which is why it can never fill anything in for you or check it against your real plan.

For the authoritative view of a plan, the participant portal and a plan manager’s statements are the source of truth. Use this tool as a quick sketch between those checks.

Track spending against each budget across your plan year, worked out from the dates and amounts you enter.

Interactive version coming soon

The interactive tracker is on the way. It will run entirely in your browser, with nothing stored or sent.

How it works

  1. Enter your plan start and end dates.
  2. Enter the committed amount and how much has been drawn on.
  3. Read where your spending sits against an even pace at today’s date.
  4. Cross-check anything that matters against your plan manager’s statements.

What it cannot tell you

  • Whether your spending is right for your goals. That is for you and your support team to judge.
  • What happens at reassessment. The NDIA decides that on your circumstances.
  • Your real plan figures. The tracker only knows the numbers you type.
