The Air Chair Active provides the ultimate in pressure care and comfort for users at risk. The in-built unique alternating air cell system with semi-automatic operation delivers the best possible pressure care, whilst also providing 8 hours of battery operation, giving you the freedom to move around between charges. The featured Carilex system provides semi-automatic operation of the Advanced Active Air Cell System, which features IPS (Intelligent Pressure Sensing). This automatically adjusts air cell pressure in response to patient movements. In addition, the system can be fully customised for patient comfort and care needs using the digital adjustment.

This alternating pressure care system operates in concert with the foam system and 4-way stretch surface covering. The chair is highly adjustable, including arm rests and head wings that can be lowered below seat height for side transfers, as well as back rest tilt, leg rest tilt, tilt in space and adjustment for the height of the footrest pads.
